So glad we found this place. One of the husband's coworkers recommended it to him and it is definitely our go to spot for authentic Mexican food in NLR.
We ordered 6 al pastor tacos, carnitas platos, and horchata. I mean we initially ordered 4 tacos, but then the husband ordered 2 more lol. Gotta try the horchata at any place to really get a feel on how authentic a place is IMO.
We were not disappointed. So tasty and delicious and most importantly ON POINT. The horchata hit the spot too and was so good! I definitely did not finish by the time we were heading out, but not to worry because they transferred it into a to go styrofoam cup for me to take.
Will be coming by often whenever where in the area to shop or run errands. So glad we found this spot! -

I just searched for the closest Mexican restaurants as I was driving into town. This one came up with the best rating, so I went with it.
Really small, connected to a supermarket, which a lot of authentic joints are. Between the music and the TV I could barely hear, which was kind of irritating, but whatever.
I got three tamales, which came out pretty fast. They were pretty dry and relatively tasteless, I was not impressed. The rice was rice, but ironically enough I really did like the refried beans, and I normally do not like refried beans.
With that said, I sat there for 20 minutes waiting on a check that never came. I went up to the cash register and had to get the girl to take out her ear buds and go get my check for me so I could actually pay. I gave a good tip, not because the service was good, but because I just wanted to get out of there by this point.
I would not recommend this place. There is likely plenty of other good Mexican restaurants close. -

Craving some Mexican food today so stopped by for breakfast. We had some steak tacos, a tamale with beans and rice, and an asada Huarache. As always, super delicious. The tamales are made with a thick, moist masa and PORK! When I moved to AR I was surprised that the majority of tamales were made with beef. The coffee is also good if you need a little pick me up. They is also a small meat market and panaderia onsite. The staff is very friendly. I tell people all the time to check this place out.

Great tacos, sopes and burritos. Food was quick and service was good! In a sketchy location but worth it for good Mexican food!

Burrito was alright, standard lettuce sour cream and refried bean burrito not so different from a lot of Mexican places. tacos were legit, especially tacos campechanos. Shrimp quesadilla was good. Could have been 4 stars but the nachos were absolute trash
Now i usually don't talk badly about nachos. Most nacho platters are like sex; even when it's bad, it's still pretty good. But these were soggy stale nachos covered in that canned orange nacho cheese sauce (aw hell naw) that you would expect at a high school football concessions stand. Don't order the cheese nachos, but otherwise the menu looks pretty good. Would have given 4 stars except for these god awful nachos
